The new ‘Sinclair Retail Park’ at Four Pools will create more than 100 new jobs

Sinclair Retail Park now 100% pre-let.

Ashfield Land has recently exchanged contracts with Home Bargains for the remaining space at Sinclair Retail Park in Evesham.

Home Bargains will trade alongside Aldi and TK Maxx in this new development which is expected to be completed in Summer 2019.

Ashfield Land has acquired a site in Evesham to deliver a new retail development, which will be ‘anchored’ by Aldi and TK Maxx.

The scheme, which already has detailed planning permission, will be developed on the site currently occupied by R Sinclair Transport (RST) on Davies Road, at Four Pools, opposite the existing Morrisons foodstore. Other retailers currently in the immediate vicinity include The Range, B&Q and Currys PC World.

Ashfield Land has purchased the freehold of the site from RST and, with about 75% of the scheme already pre-let, will proceed to build it out as soon as the site becomes vacant. Once complete, Sinclair Retail Park will create approximately 115 new job opportunities.

As a result of the deal, RST is moving to a new 80,000 sq ft facility (currently under construction at nearby Vale Park) safeguarding about 40 existing jobs and providing the opportunity for future expansion of this long-established family-owned business.

Robert Birch, Lead Director of Ashfield Land in its Birmingham office, said: “I am delighted that Ashfield Land is investing in this exciting new £14m scheme, which will deliver an enhanced retail offer as well as significant new job opportunities and also acts as a catalyst for the long awaited relocation of RST to Vale Park.”

Sinclair Retail Park is expected to be completed in Summer 2019. The remaining available space within the scheme, which extends to about 11,000 sq ft, is now being marketed by joint letting agents Ramsdens and Edgerley Simpson Howe.

Ashfield Land operates throughout the UK and has a strong track record in development, investment and strategic land in all sectors of the property market.
