We acquired the 5-acre former Swindon College town centre campus in an unconditional deal in 2006.
We have subsequently obtained outline planning permission for a leisure-led mixed use scheme to include a 30,000 sq ft supermarket, multi-screen cinema, restaurants and cafes, a hotel and apartments. In total, the scheme will provide approximately 800 car parking spaces.
The demolition of the existing building is due to commence in early 2010.
