The construction of St Catherine’s Court completed in June 2009. The building has achieved BREEAM Excellent accreditation and is the first new office building to be developed in Clifton for over 20 years. Two floors have already been let to GVA Grimley.

The building has been constructed on the site of the former Bristol Steiner Waldorf school. We bought the site from the school in the late 1990’s on an unconditional basis. Totalling approximately 1.75 acres the property was unique in that as well as a number of school buildings it also comprised a Grade II listed cathedral.

After a lengthy planning process we obtained consent for the conversion of the Cathedral to residential and the demolition of the lower school to erect the new office building. The residential element has subsequently been sold on to a house builder. When undertaken it will be the first conversion of a cathedral to residential use in the UK.

The design incorporates a high quality contemporary specification to include:

• Fully accessible raised floors
• Air conditioning
• Twin passenger lifts
• Suspended ceilings with recessed LG7 lighting
• Up to 24 car parking spaces available
• Showers
• DDA compliance
• BREEAM Excellent accreditation
