We acquired the five acre former Swindon College town centre campus in an unconditional deal in 2006.
An outline planning permission was originally obtained in 2007 and we have recently been granted detailed consent for a major retail and leisure development. The scheme will comprise a 60,000 sq ft Morrisons foodstore, a nine screen 950 seat cinema and eight high quality restaurants, along with the conversion of the old Technical College to office use.
