St Catherine's Court unveiled as 100ft crane leaves

15 Apr 2009

St Catherine’s Court, Clifton, Bristol is nearing practical completion as works on the new offices progress.

The 100 ft crane has now been dismantled and removed from the site along with the vast majority of the scaffolding, which has unveiled the stunning new glazed and stonework façade to the building for the first time.

The £15million development on the site of the former Bristol Steiner Waldorf School comprises 31,000 sq ft of office space and a basement car park. 10,500 sq ft has already been let to commercial property agents, GVA Grimley who is relocating their regional HQ to St Catherine’s Court in June. Works are already underway on their bespoke fit out together with the rest of the internal areas and external landscaping.

The BREEAM ‘Excellent’ offices are the first new build offices in Clifton for over 20 years and therefore provides the latest office standards for businesses. James Digby, Director of Ashfield Land said,

“We are very excited by the quality of the specification and finish both inside and out St Catherine’s Court. Most local offices are period buildings, which do not offer the best value in terms of energy and space efficiency. St Catherine’s Court is the only modern office in Clifton and the strong levels of interest we are receiving demonstrates that professional businesses now want sustainable space with low, long term running costs and space that is flexible to the needs of its occupants”
