Barratt David Wilson in conjunction with Ashfield Land Limited have commenced construction of the eagerly awaited new development at Kingsbrook, East of Aylesbury.

The enabling works for the development have now commenced and will provide the Section 278 works and associated infrastructure to facilitate the construction of the first phase of the residential element known as Oakfield Village where some 500 new homes will be constructed.

The project commencement is the start of a 15 year programme which will eventually deliver some 2,450 new homes which will be built to the latest, energy efficient standards, provision of a new Eastern Link Road between the A41 and the A48, 10 hectares of employment land as well as 3 new schools and a significant area of open space including a Regional Wetlands Park.
