The Bristol Office
Ashfield Land was established in Bristol in 1990 and our offices in
Berkeley Square, Clifton, remain our headquarters. The Bristol team includes the company’s
two founding principals, Andrew Fisher and Robin Faber, along with directors, James Digby and Paul Jagroop.
From Bristol the team concentrate on investments and developments across Southern England and
South Wales. Current projects with which the Bristol Office are involved include St. Catherine's
Court, a new 32,000 sq ft Grade A office development in Clifton, Bristol and Regent's Circus
in Swindon, a proposed mixed use scheme which is likely to include a foodstore, cinema,
restaurants/bars, hotel and residential.
Andrew Fisher
Andrew's career has embraced all
aspects of property consultancy and development. As the youngest
partner in Hartnell Taylor Cook's history, he set up a very
successful multidisciplinary development consultancy, greatly
extending the company’s interests. In 1987 he left to form his own
development company concentrating on the South West before joining
forces with Robin Faber in 1990.
Robin Faber FCA
One of Ashfield's two founders,
Robin is the group's Finance Director, responsible for funding and strategic planning. He qualified
as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG), before specialising in corporate
finance with Guinness Mahon. He founded his own property development business in London before
setting up Ashfield Land with Andrew Fisher in 1990. Robin has many other non-executive
directorships outside Ashfield Land, including JP Morgan Fleming Continental European Investment
Trust plc and CBS Insurance Holdings Plc.
James Digby MRICS
James joined Ashfield Land as a director in September 2005. James qualified as a
Chartered Surveyor in 1995 and his career has encompassed working in private practice
and the development sector. James joined the company from Alder King in Bristol
where he was a partner in the investment team.
Mike Forster MRICS
Mike joined Ashfield Land as a Director in January 2008. Mike has worked in the commercial
property market for over 20 years having worked for ICI, Burford and most recently
Teesland and has been involved in a wide variety of projects throughout the UK.
Paul Jagroop
Paul joined Ashfield Land in January 2007 as Construction Director.
Paul is based at our Head Office in Bristol but is responsible for project management
and construction on all our projects throughout the UK.
Prior to joining the company, Paul was Head of Project Management and Building Surveying
at Goyne Adams in London.
