Over the last 16 years we have brought hundreds of millions of pounds of projects
to fruition. Some of these projects have been sold; others we have held. Today
we have a portfolio valued at over £250m - across all sectors. All have
been acquired within our significant equity resources.
Our approach is simple. We look at how we can add value to a
property or site. We can do this because we understand planning and because
we look beyond conventional development thinking.

Ashfield Land - The Company
Our company was incorporated in 1990 following the merger of two independent
companies. Today we have offices in Bristol, London, Glasgow and Birmingham, while
our interests extend throughout the UK.
Our success is founded on our expertise in planning, our ability to fund
acquisitions from equity reserves and our fast-track approach to decision
making often on an unconditional basis.
While we tend to concentrate on commercial space development including
retail, office, industrial and leisure, we are equally at home working alongside
residential developers where mixed use offers the best solution.
As youll see from our completed projects, we have a strong
track record in maximising the value of brownfield sites: our ability to recognise
the future potential of a site or property is a hallmark of our business.
Ashfield Land - The People
Between them, the six principals have spent some 150 years
in the property business - encompassing planning, development, investment,
agency and client-side work.
Ours is a close-knit team: if you want to talk business, you
can speak to any one of us.
As our interests have grown, so has our company structure, but we remain a compact
organisation: all our people have been selected for their knowledge of the
property and planning business, and an ability to recognise an opportunity.

Acquisitions Sought
Ashfield has built its business by seeking out and maximising
development opportunities - either through the planning process or by active
management. That drive continues.
We will consider acquiring sites and properties throughout the
UK in all sectors. Where we believe a mixed use development would benefit
from specialist skills - such as housing - we often look to work in partnership.
Our strong preference is to acquire a freehold interest on an
unconditional basis but we will consider all opportunities on their individual
merits. We operate a swift decision making process and we have immediate funds
available for further acquisitions. Introductions will be fully recognised.
While the company is keen to retain a high proportion of its
holdings, it has sold on its interests in a number of developments - allowing
it to extend its activities.
